ABOUT THE AUTHORS Louis D. Brown has been buying real estate since he was a teenager! A full time investor since 1984, he owns, rehabilitates and manages apartments, single family homes, buys and brokers loans and discounted mortgages. In addition to private consulting, he teaches seminars and has authored courses, books and tapes on how to make money and keep it. He was founding President of the National Real Estate Investors Association and a Past President and a lifetime member of Georgia Real Estate Investors Association. He has been quoted by "The Wall Street journal" and "Smart Money" Magazine, among others, as an expert in real estate investing, managing an d financing. He firmly believes that the path to success is through ongoing education and he invests a minimum of thousands of dollars annually in his own.
Bruce Beasley learned how life is in the corporate world when three airlines closed in his twenty-year career as an airline pilot. He was prepared to change directions when the last one closed in January of 1991. At that time he had already bought and sold several properties and held two mortgages. In 1993, he bought 100 properties on his own and with partners. He currently self manages 40 units and has another 20 units under professional management in a more distant city. |
