Based on feedback from our free user
conferences in the first quarter of 1999 and support faxes throughout the year, we are
adding the most requested items for release in 2000. This program will be shipped in
mid-January.
Incidentally, NoteSmith2000 is Y2K compliant, as are all of our programs dating back to
1989.
Here are just a few of the items that have been added to NoteSmith2000:
- Previous print options settings are memorized by the program and reused automatically
- Aging report prints a summary even if no accounts are late. Notes and leases can be
printed on the same report.
- Up to 3 orders can be chosen when creating custom reports
- Payors now have email addresses and NoteSmith stores them.
- A Regulation Z, Truth-in-Lending form is a 2 mouse click printout in window envelope
format.
- Special fields, such as date manipulation fields, were added to filters and custom
reports.
- Excess payments can be applied to late fees owed, service fees, and escrow in addition
to principal and next payment due.
- An accrued interest report was added for users who must report to banks.
Many other features are being considered or are in development. As they
are implemented, each one will be listed here.
